EMOTIONAL HEALING

“No Matter What, I Am OK”

Leah had already walked a long spiritual path when she and Paramjit connected. She shares here, in her own words, how a lingering fear finally began to loosen — and what she has come to understand about peace.

Where They Started

When I met Paramjit, I had already done much spiritual and emotional healing. However, I still felt a sense of fear or anxiety that I credited with holding me back from experiencing real peace. I frequently experienced anxiety. I found reasons to not pursue opportunities, foreseeing how they could fail.

After 2009, my family went through some very difficult times revolving around financial devastation and betrayal by a sibling that caused all of the other problems to exacerbate. I felt as if the bottom had fallen out of life. Whatever we tried to do to turn things around seemed to fail. In 2019, I basically threw up my hands, gave up and asked God/Life for help. I found the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and started listening to him non-stop. I figured if I couldn’t manage to control the external world around me, I could learn how to cope and understand my part in creating my experience.

The Work They Did

I determined to adopt Eckhart’s 3 modalities of awakened doing in all aspects of my life. I realized I had been living life in a haze of resentment and anger and gave it all up. It saved my relationship with my older teen daughter. I had been completely unconscious while raising her, but today we have a beautiful relationship. It allowed me to raise my youngest daughter in a state of love, thanks to being conscious or awakened and having healed my own wounds. She has just become an amazing young adult.

Through a series of bizarre and unexpected events, we had a very substantial amount of money come into our possession. Beforehand, I received a message during meditation, that it was coming. I knew it was true and never doubted it, during the 8 months it took to arrive. This was my first experience of Life showing me how to manifest… When you pray for something, believe it has already been received.

My support during this time was mostly through spiritual groups on social media. I also had some friends who I chatted with personally. Also through reading and re-reading spiritual texts. Paramjit was one of my online friends who reached out to me to talk. We had already connected and shared quite a bit about our spiritual experiences and journeys. I knew he was good at heart and trustworthy.

Paramjit offered to work with me on the issue of underlying fear and anxiety. We had an online EFT session and Paramjit practiced a tapping exercise with me. It was to address the deep seated fear and anxiety that remained with me. That session was very helpful and I incorporated it into my ongoing practice(s), along with Eckhart’s guidance around dissolving pain that arises.

I realized I had been carrying this fear since I was a small toddler and that I (adult me) could go back and parent/care for that small inner child. Profound.

It was a part of the healing, as I had already been deep into Eckhart’s teachings, as I continue to be.

What's Different Now

I have since realized that while manifesting is great, there is a deeper truth… my internal experience can be independent of whatever is going on externally. This is probably the most important thing I have come to realize. No matter what, I am OK. I am enough… always have been and always will be. I have enough… always have and always will.

Taking responsibility for my own healing feels empowering. When I have the feeling that something isn’t “good” I know I have the power to go inside and process what is there. Every “trigger” is a gift and a pointer.

I loved that Paramjit reached out and cared. He also used some humor and had a soft demeanor that put me at ease. I had never experienced tapping before and I was surprised at its effectiveness.

Through all of my spiritual growth, a great deal of self awareness has arisen. It shows up every day in all aspects of my life. If I am not in a state of peace, I know I’ve lost the plot and go within to recenter.

My suggestion to others in a similar situation: Begin your spiritual journey. Find a mentor or two. Be open and willing to admit you do not have all of the answers. Vulnerability and humility will carry you a long way.

This is one person’s genuine experience, shared with their permission — not a guarantee of results for any other individual. When emotional patterns are understood and gently resolved, many physical symptoms begin to improve naturally. Many people experience significant relief, and in some cases symptoms reduce to a point where they no longer affect daily life. Every journey is different.
