~ FROM PARAMJIT ~
When I retired from the Indian Air Force at the age of fifty-seven, everyone asked me the same question: what next? I used to say I would build a website on somatic-emotional healing. Many friends encouraged me. And there were a few who said, Sir, why make a website? There are enough websites, and no one reads them these days. Make a few landing pages, set up some funnels, start with social media, and get going.
I am not a young man starting out, and I am not an experienced businessman. I am someone who spent thirty-four years in the Indian Air Force, and has spent the last ten years learning something quieter — how to sit with a person in pain, and help them find their way back to themselves.
This website is a place for me to share a lifetime of learning in the dynamics of human relationships, and ten years of healing work. I observed everything, learned many techniques, and applied whatever was needed when sitting across from a soul who needed help. What do I want to write? What is my message? I feel the message must be conveyed because there is a message — not for the message’s sake, not to build websites or make reels or chase rankings and reach.
Most of the time, I do not like to use the word “clients.” I used to think of the people I helped as blessed souls. And once they began to trust me, I would think of them as my students — because my aim was always to guide them, the way a teacher or a mentor would.
I have seen, online and offline, how many people are in pain and need help. Often they are lost, and many do not have the money or the resources to reach therapy or counselling.
This website is my attempt to offer that help — to people I may never meet, who are searching. Many of those I have helped online told me the same thing: that they had prayed for help, prayed to find someone who could help them heal.
I keep one person in mind while I do all of this.
Someone awake in the dark, carrying something no one around them can see, wondering if anything will help. Maybe on the other side of the world. Maybe someone who has tried everything and is not sure there is anything left to try.
I made this so that the door is open even at two in the morning. If it reaches that one person, it was worth making.
There was resistance at every step.
When I decided to study for an MA in Clinical Psychology, it was a real challenge — the reading, the remembering, the exams, at this stage of life. Some wondered why I would take the harder road. When I decided to build a full-time healing practice, rather than take another job as a second innings, it was my own decision — so that I would not, one day, regret never having tried the thing I was most passionate about. Passion is one thing; making a livelihood from it is another. And when I decided to make this website, to put my work out into the world where anyone could see it, there were more challenges still.
I faced it all, and I continued.
I do not say this to sound brave. I say it because I think many of the people who find this website are facing their own resistance — from their families, from their doctors, sometimes from the voice inside their own head that says this will not work, why bother, it is too late. If that is you, I want you to know that I understand it. I walked through it too. And I am still walking.
Over the years I have read many books and learned many techniques — EFT, breathwork, NLP, somatic work, meditation, and more.
But I never got stuck on any single one of them. I kept my eyes and ears open. I use whatever the person in front of me needs — sometimes one thing, sometimes another, guided as much by gut feeling and compassion as by any method.
Because here is what I have come to believe: the technique is not the important thing. The most important person, in that moment, is the one sitting in front of me. Not the method. Not the label. The person.
When I am listening to someone, they are the most important person in that moment. They need listening, respect, compassion, and empathy. They come carrying pain — and they deserve dignity, without any judgement. A chance to speak. A chance to feel heard, and valued.
And something passes between us before a single word is spoken. A genuine connection — that is the whole of it. This energy is real, whether we sit together in a room or meet across a screen. That is the one thing no book, no app, no machine can give you: a real person, present, who sees you.
And often the first healing is simply this — that someone is finally, fully listened to. Many people have never had that.
Some years ago, someone I had worked with passed my number to a young woman in her family. We never met. The whole thing happened on WhatsApp.
She had lived with migraine for ten years. She was married, and there were things at home that were not easy. Somewhere in those ten years she had stopped believing a migraine was a thing that could be helped — she did not say it as a complaint. She said it the way you state a fact about the weather.
I told her what I tell everyone.
I cannot promise you anything. But I will give you my best.
I have thought about that exchange many times since. I did not offer her hope. I had nothing to offer her except my honesty and my attention. And that was enough for her to begin.
That is why I made this website. Not to convince anyone. Just to be honest enough, in enough places, that someone who has stopped believing decides to try one more time.
I will be honest with you, because honesty is the only thing I have to offer that is fully mine.
I am learning the tricks of this trade as I go. The videos, the website, the way to reach people — these will come with time, and they will not be perfect the first time. Over the last few weeks I have changed things, refined things, thrown away what did not work. I offered a free meditation class because I could not know how people would respond until I tried. Some things I thought people would want, they did not. Some things I did not expect, they loved.
I do not have this all figured out. But there is one thing I am sure of: I know how to help a person heal. That part, I am confident about. The rest, I am learning.
Most emotional and physical struggles have a root — nervous system and emotional patterns beneath the symptom. When that root is understood and gently released, rather than only managed, something can shift.
I have seen it happen. Not because of a clever technique, but because someone was finally asked a different question, and given a safe place to answer it.
What the work has done for other people is in their own words, on our testimonials page — not mine to claim on their behalf, because your healing would be yours, and no two people’s are the same.
Anahad means the unstruck sound — the stillness that is always there, underneath all the noise. Beneath the pain, the racing mind, the exhaustion, there is a quiet ground that none of it ever truly touched. I do not give people something new. I try to help them come back to what was always there.
And Chardi Kala — the ever-rising spirit. Not a promise that the pain will vanish, but the deeper truth that a person can rise even within it. That the dark hour is not the end of the story.
That is what I want to carry to the person at 2 AM. Not a technique. The living reminder that one can keep rising.
I believe this website will find the readers it is meant to find.
It may. It may not.
Either way, I am okay. At least I can say I tried. Otherwise it would have been a lifelong grudge — I did not try.
I have committed everything I can to the effort. The outcome is not mine to control — I learned that a long time ago, in my own family’s hardest days. All I can offer is my presence, my honesty, and my best. The rest, I release.
If you have read this far, perhaps this website has already found one of the readers it was meant for.
If so — welcome. You do not have to carry it alone.
~ WHEN YOU ARE READY — NO OBLIGATION ~
If something here spoke to you, the gentlest first step is a free conversation — no pressure, no obligation. You tell me what you are carrying, and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.
This page shares a personal account of somatic-emotional healing work. It is offered as a complement to medical care, not a replacement for it. If you are unwell, please also consult a qualified medical professional.
