What to Expect in a Healing Session

By the time most people reach Anahad Healing, they have already tried a great deal.

Doctors. Medication. Supplements. Perhaps therapy, or a relative’s advice, or a book recommended by someone who meant well. There has been cost — financial, emotional, in time spent trying. There has been hope that arrived and dimmed. And there has been, underneath all of it, a persistent question: why does this keep coming back?

If that is where you are, you are in the right place.

You arrive here — as Paramjit has observed across more than ten years of practice — carrying a varying degree of hope. Some people walk in quietly confident. Others barely dare to believe that something might finally be different. Both are welcome. Exactly as they are.

What to expect in a healing session with Paramjit Singh Anahad Healing

The First Thing That Happens — You Are Heard

Not assessed. Not categorised. Not handed a protocol before you have finished your sentence.

The first question Paramjit asks every new client is the simplest one:

“Tell me your story — in your own words.”

Then he listens. Ask less, listen more — that is the principle that guides every first session. He is not filling in a form while you speak. He is present with you, the way a careful driver is present on a hill road — collecting the full picture, noticing what matters, asking only what he genuinely needs to ask.

Most people who come to Anahad Healing have never been listened to in this way — without judgment, without the other person waiting to give advice, without being quietly placed into a category. Doctors are trained to diagnose. Family members are trained to reassure. Friends relate everything to their own experience. None of that is listening.

This is.

And something happens when a person is genuinely heard, often for the first time in relation to the thing they have been carrying. The body releases a little. The breathing changes. A weight — not gone yet, but shifted.

What to Expect in a Healing Session With Paramjit

Before the first session — the discovery call

Every journey at Anahad Healing begins with a free 30-minute discovery call. This is not a sales conversation. It is Paramjit’s way of understanding whether he can genuinely help you — and being honest with you if he cannot. That honesty is itself the first sign of what working with him will feel like.

The first full session — 60 to 90 minutes

Sessions take place online via video call, or in person at the Anahad Healing clinic in Dwarka, New Delhi. The first session runs between 60 and 90 minutes — sometimes longer, because when the conversation is flowing, time behaves differently.

“Sometimes a client will not realise and we have talked for ninety minutes. Time stops. Hours feel like minutes. That is when I know we are in the right place.”

— Paramjit Singh

The session begins with conversation — your story, in your words, at your pace. Paramjit listens for the pattern beneath the presenting problem: the emotional history, the body’s signals, the moment things began to shift, the things you have tried and why they did not hold.

The working part of the session draws on whichever combination of approaches is right for you that day. This may include:

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) — a gentle tapping process that works directly with the body’s stress-response system, helping to discharge the emotional charge held in specific memories or patterns
  • Breathwork — precise breathing practices that activate the vagus nerve and begin to regulate the nervous system from the inside
  • NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) — conversation-based work that identifies and begins to shift the inner language and beliefs that sustain old patterns
  • Somatic awareness — guidance in noticing where in the body an emotion lives, and what the body needs in order to release it

These are not separate offerings selected from a menu. They are tools within an integrated protocol — the DECODE–RELEASE–RESET–REBUILD method — applied in the combination that serves your specific pattern, in that specific session. Paramjit will not tell you in advance which tools he will use, because he will not know until he has truly listened to you. The person is the destination. The technique is the vehicle.

How You Will Feel — During and After

There is a moment Paramjit watches for in every first session.

“When people come for a session, something very heavy is sitting on their chest and they cannot feel light. The first time a client smiles — that is the moment I know something has shifted.”

— Paramjit Singh

That smile is not always dramatic. It is sometimes quiet — a loosening, a small breath, the face doing something it has not done in a while. But it is real. And it is the beginning.

After the session, you may feel emotional — sometimes more so than you expected. This is not a sign that something went wrong. It is a sign that something moved. Material that has been held in place, sometimes for years, has begun to release. The body and nervous system need time to integrate.

You may feel tired. You may feel tearful. You may feel lighter than you have in a long time. Often all of these in the same afternoon. Paramjit will share what he observed and what to pay attention to in the days that follow. Between sessions, he is available for brief follow-up — a question, a reassurance, a practice reminder.

This consistency between sessions — the daily messages, the presence, the sense that someone is genuinely accompanying you — is something clients across 15+ countries have described as the defining difference between managing their condition and genuinely changing it.

An Honest Word Before You Book

I cannot promise you anything. It is practically futile to promise health to anyone. But I will give you my best. And with God’s grace, whosoever has stayed consistently with me has found real change. If you are ready to do the work — I am ready to guide you.

— Paramjit Singh, Anahad Healing

Two things matter most to someone considering a first session: trust, and whether it will be worth the cost. Paramjit understands both.

On trust — it builds in the first conversation. Most people describe feeling, within the first ten minutes of a discovery call, that someone finally understood what they had been carrying. That is not a technique. That is presence.

On value — the honest answer is that healing is a process, not a single event. Most clients begin to notice real pattern shifts within three to five sessions. Long-standing conditions with deep emotional roots often require more sustained work. Paramjit will tell you clearly, after the first session, what he observed and what he would recommend. If he does not believe he can help you, he will say so.

That honesty has been the foundation of this practice from the beginning.

Is This Right for You?

A healing session at Anahad Healing is right for you if:

  • You have tried the conventional route and found that it manages your condition but does not resolve it
  • You are open to the possibility that there is an emotional or nervous-system root to what your body is experiencing
  • You are willing to do the work between sessions, not just during them
  • You are ready — even partially, even cautiously — to look honestly at what you have been carrying

It is not a replacement for medical care. If you are in a mental health crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional immediately. Paramjit works alongside medical care — not instead of it.

If you are curious, cautious, and quietly hopeful — that is exactly the right state to begin.
